Poplar Grove Practice Memorial Garden – 2026 Gold Winners

We are delighted to announce that Poplar Grove Memorial Garden has been awarded Gold in the 2026 Aylesbury in Bloom Garden Competition, winning both the Gold Award for Communal Garden and the Mayor’s Gold Cup.

The memorial garden was created in 2012 following the sad passing of one of our dedicated nurses. Since then, it has blossomed into a beautiful and peaceful space within the practice grounds, providing patients and staff with a place to enjoy moments of reflection and relaxation.

Each year, Aylesbury Town Council invites gardeners of all abilities to enter its ‘Aylesbury in Bloom’ Garden Competition, which is open to residents, organisations, businesses and schools within the parish of Aylesbury.

The memorial garden has entered the competition in previous years and received awards. We are therefore especially proud to have achieved Gold this year, along with the prestigious Mayor’s Gold Cup.

The GP Partners would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Fiona, our resident gardener, as well as our patients and volunteers, for all their hard work, care and dedication in maintaining this special garden and keeping it beautiful and available for everyone to enjoy.
