Fraud Alert - SMS from NHS-NoReply
We are aware some patients may have received an SMS from NHS-NoReply stating you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Omicron XE, subsequently this directs you to a website advising you to book a PCR test and pay a fee.
Unfortunately this message is coming through via our practice message feed, which means it looks like the message has come from us. This is a fraudulent message and should you receive this message, please report this to Thames Valley Police via https://www.thamesvalley.police.uk/ro/report/fo/v1/fraud/ and delete it immediately. Please DO NOT click the link.
This activity of fraud has been reported to the relevant persons in the NHS for investigation and we hope to have this resolved as a matter of urgency.
